 Enriching
Communities Conference a resounding success
Held on the 1st of
December at the North London Central Mosque,
this conference hosted by Islington Refugee
Forum, Hackney Refugee Forum and Improving
Reach, brought together representatives from
migrant and refugee communities across the two
boroughs.
With around
80 attendees and twelve stalls, the conference
featured presentations from four key speakers,
covering significant topics of community
interest. Having a chance to break into
workshops, particpants had the opportunity to
discuss key issues face-to-face with the
speakers. The event concluded with a hearty
Turkish buffet, a saz performance and plenty
of excellent networking.
